However, please note: cartridges with a 14.93mm (.588 in) case head, such as the 338 Lapua Mag, will not be gripped by the extractor during feeding. Instead, they feed like push-feed actions—especially when paired with a fixed bolt handle.

For best results, American Rifle Company recommends the pivoting handle when using the ARC Coup De Grace Bolt Head with large cartridges. This not only reduces the chance of sticking but also allows extraction without fully closing the bolt.
